The views and opinions expressed in this article are my own based on my personal experiences with GoDaddy. This article presents a biased perspective stemming from my individual dealings with the company. I recommend doing further research on Trustpilot and other review sites, and ultimately making your own informed decision about GoDaddy as a company.

GoDaddy has become a household name. They are one of the biggest website hosting and domain name companies in the world.

However, being the biggest does not make you the best and there are many GoDaddy alternatives that can offer you a better price, a better service and a far better experience.

GoDaddy is well known to be overpriced; they will charge you for everything from migrations to backups to email forwarders and SSL certificates which are all features that you shouldn’t have to be paying extra for.

There are also countless horror stories floating around the internet about GoDaddy’s poor customer service and service levels.

As a business owner, you should always look at all available options to you. If a GoDaddy alternative has a good reputation, is cheaper and offers similar or better features and products, then you should make an informed decision, don’t be fooled by GoDaddy promises or low introductory prices, you will later come to regret it.

Let’s take a look at some of the best GoDaddy alternatives and what they do better.
